Is MiddlePoint free?
Yes, MiddlePoint is entirely free and doesn't require creating an account.
How does MiddlePoint calculate the meeting point?
From each participant's address and their chosen mode of transport (car, public transit, bike, walking), to find a meeting point that's fair in travel time.
What's the difference between Social mode and Roadtrip mode?
Social mode finds a place to meet between several fixed addresses. Roadtrip mode finds fair stops or breaks along a route.
Are my addresses stored on your servers?
No. They're never sent to a database: they stay only in your browser, even after refreshing the page, and disappear when you close the tab.
Can I book directly from the app?
Yes, you can book a table, a room, or an activity through our partners (TheFork, Booking.com, GetYourGuide...) without leaving MiddlePoint.
Do I need to allow geolocation?
No, geolocation is only used if you click the "My location" button yourself, with your explicit consent.
